...We'll attempt a practice problem or two, and it'll usually become clear where the gaps are in the student's math knowledge. Usually, it's something we've all seen before, like adding fractions or simplifying square roots. My preference is to teach the math itself, in isolation. (read more)
...While in high-school I realized I had a knack for explaining subjects and concepts in many different ways, often relating them to students in new analogies or different aspects. In this way I was able to communicate concepts, thoughts, and material more effectively. I've always been the type to help out other students in need and am often the person people reach out to for quick tips. (read more)
