Greg L. ...I enjoy using analogies and metaphors to accomplish this. One that comes to mind is that one can compare the flow of electricity to the flow of a river with regards to velocity of flow and flow mass. So if someone understands fluid flow but not the relationship between current and voltage, then this analogy comes in handy.
