...In high school, I tutored elementary and middle school students in math (pre-Algebra, Geometry, Algebra). During semesters in college, I was a subject tutor for Economics courses; during the summers, I tutored high schoolers in ACT and SAT prep. ...I find that just dictating steps is not good enough. What's way more beneficial is to logically think through the problems---Math is very unique in that there are often multiple ways to solve problems. In most instances, it's not about the route you take to get to the destination--just that you get there in an acceptable manner and time. (read more)
