...Finite math is some of the most fun (and most confusing) math to learn - it sits apart from the "typical" math trajectory of algebra -> calculus, and you can get to the outer reaches of the theory much more quickly than with calculus, for example. This makes it an interesting subject, and simultaneously easy to approach and hard to master. I studied applied mathematics at university. (read more)
