I believe students sometimes feel they don't like a subject because they don't do well in the subject. ...I'm now back in Cincinnati with my Master of Education. It's pretty normal to be overwhelmed by math, or avoid it, or hate it, and it's probably the scariest ACT test. I've been tutoring ACT math for years (and taken it as an adult) and have a great sense of the types of questions that are often included and the best way for different learners to find the answers easily and quickly. ...I am also very well versed in the arithmetic, algebra, geometry and reasoning tested by the SAT and can review this with students as needed. As a note, effective test prep takes time, so I recommend starting early. I warn my prospective students that the gains to be made with just a week or two of preparation will be very limited.
