...When you look into that course, we delved into C++ and created many different programs on a weekly basis. That one semester taught us how to write code, debug code, and help others fix errors in C++. I am a sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and am a Computer Science major. ...I believe that in order to be proficient at mathematics, I must help the student understand the concepts by breaking them down in simple ways and applying those concepts with practice problems. I like to ask students what they need help with and they can show me the problem that they are having trouble with. I then suggest methods and show them how to use those methods to solve the problems. (read more)
