...While there are times to memorize information often there are patterns to look for which give chemical insight and intuitions. In my teaching, I like to stress intuitions and showing students how they can learn on their own. Chemistry can be a particularly challenging topic for some but I find ways of breaking it down into pieces that make sense to the student. (read more)
...I thoroughly enjoy the Classics, and was familiar with Charles Dickens and Shakespeare long before I took AP English in High School. I made an A in AP English, and in my college English courses. I also took Human Situation in college, a 10 credit hour course in which we dive into classics of antiquity in the first semester, and the philosophy and epics of modernity in the second. (read more)
...I have gotten a 1540 SAT and numerous 5's on AP exams. I have worked in private tutoring centers for 3 and half years and love interacting with students who are ready to learn.
