...I taught in Federal Level 3/4 Settings for 1 year. The main focus of the settings was EBD, where most of the students had numerous disabilities, including ADHD. I received a variance in addition my regular teaching license and I also had passed the State exam for Special Education (Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behavioral Disabilities), which included ADHD. ...I believe math can be communicated in ways that anyone can understand. I also think that math requires practice. So I like to frame mathematical concepts in terms that the individual can relate to and then work on example problems. (read more)
