...Since I graduated, I still do a lot of math for work, so I'm pretty experienced with the different focuses of Math. I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for the University of Pittsburgh. ...Although I had always found that my strongest major was applied mathematics because it makes sense once you learned the formulas, functions and general bigger picture. I had tutored students at Kumon in mathematics for over a year and studied applied mathematics at Stony Brook University. ...Despite over ten years of experience tutoring, I've always kept tutoring as a part-time thing with a limited number of students. I prefer it this way so I can get to know my pupils better. In addition, this arrangement means that I usually have enough free time to be flexible in case the student needs an extra session for a test or midterms, or has to reschedule because of conflicts.
