...In 2021, I taught at a high school but returned to college teaching in 2023. I like a more student centered approach when tutoring. I let the student show me how they are trying to solve a problem that they may be struggling with and then I will make corrections or suggestions on how to solve the problem correctly. (read more)
...Speed will be a factor in mastery of 1 and 2 column whole numbers. Mastery is considered 95% accuracy with the required speed. Grades 3 - 5 the emphasis will be on catching up to those skills and mastering new skills that include fractions, decimals, and the order of operations. (read more)
