Since I was 14, I was quite intrigued by the way the world worked. From disassembling items, such as dad's radio and Mom's blender, to trying to understand what controlled the orbits of the moons and planets. It was during my time as a junior in undergraduate school in Los Angeles, while I was in my second year as a teaching assistant, that I realized the immense joy in teaching. (read more)

...I am familiar with all the various strategies the districts use. If a student is struggling with a concept, there are various strategies to use to make sure that the student understands the concept. I believe that relating math to the students interests helps students understand the concepts better. (read more)
