I hold two master's degrees -- one in applied mathematics, one in physics. I started teaching math in 1999. While many of the intervening years saw me as a part-time adjunct instructor of mathematics, I did enjoy a full-time appointment to the math faculty of Alabama A&M University for 5 of those years. I have taught one year of high school Algebra and one semester of college Developmental Math. I have tutored students at various ages and levels, including GED students in a program provided at my church.
