...Each year, UConn holds an annual Calculus competition on campus, and I won awards in it all four years, including First Place Overall! While at UConn, I also tutored in the Math Center where students would drop in for help with their math courses. ...I have experienced teaching SAT math at Huntington Learning Center and through WYZant for 5 years. Most SAT math questions can be solved in more than one method, so I approach to questions in many different ways based on my students problem solving skills and prior knowledge for the problems. For each problem, I assess their weaknesses for the problem and strengthen their weakest area. (read more)
