...I really enjoy teaching in small group settings, because the satisfaction of seeing someone grasp a concept for the first time is hard to beat. On the personal side, I grew up on a farm in Montana, but love calling Seattle home. I went to college in Spokane for 4 years, stayed there an extra year, and then moved to Denver to teach middle school math. (read more)

Before that, I worked for NASA as a research associate at the Goddard Space Flight Center and later at the University of Washington as coordinator for the NASA Educator Resource Center.
