...I took 10 hours of botany classes in college in addition to classes centered on cell biology and genetics. Using this experience, I was invited to intern at the New York Botanical Gardens as a research assistant. I worked with DNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis to understand the genetic makeup of plants and their evolutionary trends. (read more)

I have an undergraduate degree in Math/Science Education (BS degree) from Clemson University and a master's degree in Business (MBA) in Finance from Georgia State University.
