...When I was 18 I read the Bible cover to cover several times. I am much more familiar with the Old Testament than the New Testament. My interest in biblical studies has inspired an interest in the ancient civilizations of Babylon and Sumer where many of their narratives, most specifically of a world wide flood, parallel the biblical narratives, which I find fascinating and worthy of study.
