Dear Students,I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. Following my undergraduate program I was assessed and licensed by the state of Vermont to teach 7th-12th graders Mathematics. ...I am familiar with a lot of the common pitfalls that students run into in physics and beginning mathematics. I've originally became interested in teaching because I started with tutoring. It's such a joy to help students get to that breakthrough moment when they understand or to help students build confidence in their ability to do math or physics problems on their own. (read more)
...I try to keep my class as story-based as possible so there is always a clear objective. For example, my chemistry course covered the mole subject by examining the 1982 contamination of Tylenol. The story was framed as a murder mystery to investigate if the victim's mother killed her daughter. (read more)
