...It's been very gratifying to take students who are struggling with math to the point where they are crying and get them to feel better about their progress. I try hard to prepare students not just for the class they're currently taking, but also give them a good background for future math classes. ...I graduated valedictorian from Westview High School in Portland, OR with a weighted GPA of 4.23 and a class rank of 9/689. After high school I attended the University of Oregon Honors College for a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics, achieving a 3.67 GPA in my course work.
