...I can figure out just about anything in Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Of course, I am always learning, which makes me a better teacher! I love e-learning--It's a great way to see the world on a budget, although I have to say surfing the web is no substitute for biking, or even walking. (read more)

As we dive into current material, i often take moments to go over prerequisite concepts. ...I obtained my PhD in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014. I obtained by Bachelor of Science from Duke University in 2008.
