Chris S. ...Prealgebra is actually not the easiest to tutor. Most students I have tutored in prealgebra have some difficulty in math, so the challenge is to break it down to the most simple terms. One skill that I am proud to have acquired is to teach something from a multitude of different aspects, because some ways of thinking just don't click for some people.

Yelena H. ...Just because you did great in algebra, does not at all guarantee that will do well in geometry. True, you still use concepts you learned in algebra, but there is so much new terminology to learn and things to visualize. And then there are those pesky proofs!
