After completing my degrees at the University of Texas at Austin in Photojournalism and Psychology, I went to Brazil and taught English in Rio de Janeiro for 6 months. (read more)
...It is therefore one of my favourite subjects to tutor. I feel that I have a strong intuitive understanding of calculus, which I try to impart to my students, so that it is not all about memorizing formulas and techniques. I love geometry because of its visual elements, and how it requires you to think in completely different ways. (read more)

I attended a Classical Conversations homeschooling co-op where I was classically taught Math, Science, Latin, History, Literature, Logic, Philosophy, Socratic Dialogue, and Speech and Debate.
