...Fundamentally, I believe that a tutor's communication style is so important in empowering and supporting a student facing an academic challenge for the better. In general, I allow the family members or parents to govern how I help their child/sibling to best meet his/her needs. For three semesters of my time during community college, I worked as a tutor in the Writing Center. Currently, I currently work as a substitute teacher, which I have a permit for, through California state.
