...After teaching a new skill, I always have my students practice without my aid, but under my supervision, to ensure that they can succeed independently. In my spare time, I volunteer at a local middle school, where I teach math and reading skills. ...On general persuasion side of things I have listed to hundreds or thousands of hours of oral arguments and been involved in the political process, but that is primarily outside the area of my formal training. My research in both undergrad and graduate school covered areas of this subject. Matrices, graph theory, doing things with finite set are areas of mathematics that I enjoy. (read more)
