...I think in pictures, as I think most of us do. Geometry made mathematics sensible to my brain. The realization that the confusing symbol-jungles in algebra actually 'mean' something in terms of pictures freed me from what had been (upto the time I was in middle-school) an increasingly arduous chore : learning Math, and transformed Math into something that I actually had fun doing. ...The reason that I love to tutor is the fact that it allows me to see growth in the students I work with. It also allows me to get to know them and adjust the materials I use to fit their individual needs.
