...We made sure that students kept up with their homework and caught them up in topics they were falling behind in. Math has always been one of my favorite subjects in grade school. In high school, I scored a perfect 5 on the College Board's AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics exams. (read more)
...Along with my commitment to student achievement, I am a great motivator. Listen in on one of my tutoring sessions and you'll hear a lot of Ohs! and Wow! Often the student is not into the tutoring at all and so, I teach an energetic session that is sure to keep his attention, and sure to get him fired up and caught up. (read more)
...With trigonometry I like to make sure that students have a good intuition for the pictures behind the formulas. I hope that they feel more confident and aren't as intimidated by all of the different trig formulas after our lesson. I have been a math instructor for over 15 years. (read more)
