...Every two minutes or so, I interrupt the student's reading and say, "That's two minutes, just breathe." By saying the same thing, it creates a trigger word that decreases stress. Hopefully, when I'm not physically there and the student feels stressed, they will hear my voice saying, "just breathe" and they will relax. My third method is to determine a student's vocabulary. ...In my program, we focus on work for younger children to help our special needs students. I have a lot of background with elementary subjects because of theses courses. I got an A in them and have plenty of fun activities to help engage younger kids. (read more)
...When I work with students, first I make sure that student understands all related concepts, then I spend time teaching strategies to solve the problems assigned. I prepare students for quizzes, tests, homework and ISAT or any standardized tests.
