Two years later, upon a friend's suggestion, I became a substitute teacher in various public school systems. ...I did some accuracy checking for a major publisher of textbooks; my reviews were exhaustive and thorough. Some of the work involved checking answers to test bank questions, and some was refining study guides. Unfortunately, some medical issues surfaced in 2015, making it difficult to stand for hours at a time, so for a year I worked as an in-house tutor at the college. (read more)

...From undergraduate college, I received Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts; Fall 1997. I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.
