I graduated from the University of Houston obtaining a B.S. in Physics with a Minor in Mathematics. I volunteered each year of high school as a coach for a math competition in Florida in which I trained and prepared middle schoolers for a competition involving geometry, 3d structure design, algebra, and rapid calculation. In ACT/SAT tutoring, I've worked with students who have gone from 13 on ACT, well below average, to 30 (well above average) and on SAT from a 900 to a 1400. One student worked with another tutor for a year - SAT was still under 1000. After 4 hours of sessions with me, and a lot of self study now that she was motivated, she achieved 1280. (read more)
