Gerry H. I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2012 with a B.S. in Mathematics. I've been tutoring math since high school, though, and so far I've helped more than 40 students. My students have ranged in age from 10 to 55, and in subjects from pre-algebra to calculus and statistics.

Karina R. ...Knowing more than one language (and I know 4!) means I have more sources to draw from when I encounter a word I've never heard before. Also, I'm a bit of an amateur linguist, in that I really enjoy learning about etymologies and word formation. So all these things combined make me have a more extensive vocabulary than many native speakers.

Brian T. ...I had the good fortune to study Linear Algebra with a professor who emphasized its connections with the geometry of transformations of the plane, so I can convey the material graphically as well as symbolically. I have used Linux regularly since 2008. My first distro was "Yellow Dog Linux" on a PPC Apple laptop.
