...I had a student in San Antonio who was math phobic and I worked with him for almost a year on his Precalculus. His grade went up from a "C "to an "A". I have tutored Precalculus for many years, including at Saint Phillips College and with WyzAnt, and on my own with my own customers for going on 20 years now.

...While in college I also did work study in which I tutored math. As a tutor I try to model the correct process that a student should do in solving a problem and then watch and monitor as a student tries to follow that process, stopping and correcting as needed. I have also been a baseball coach in which my specialty was pitching, but I have coached all positions and all high school levels.
