...I was part of a curriculum committee at the school I work at which adopted a new math curriculum. This gave me an opportunity to research the Common Core State Standards and to better understand the connections between Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and more advanced math courses. ...Also note, I was a mathematics and spanish minor as a Chemistry Major Undergraduate at the University of Iowa. I am now working as an R&D Scientist in surfactants, sterols, and esters.
