...It's not the difficulty of the section that gives students trouble, however; it's the way the questions are asked. The ACT loves to wrap up simple ideas in rarefied verbiage, masking basic grammatical concepts in complicated sentence structure and dirty tricks. Fortunately, I know how the test works, and I've helped many students increase their ACT English score by 2 points or greater. (read more)
