...In physics. This field makes extensive use of differential equations. I enjoy tutoring students in mathematics and I have tutored extensively in areas of higher math such as calculus, which includes differential equations. (read more)
...I made physics work for me by always looking at it through a mathematical lens. My default approach is to break problem scenarios down to the known and unknown before leveraging available equations in order to complete the story, so to say. When needed, I am able to take a step back and ask why an equation makes sense, usually by considering real-world experience, data or physical intuition. (read more)
...I currently teach geometry, precalculus, statistics and calculus. The precalculus and calculus classes are college credit plus (CCP) classes. While I enjoy classroom teaching, I know that 1 on 1 interaction often brings about much better results than a large group setting. (read more)
...During this time, I have engaged with students ranging from [specific age range], in classroom settings and through one-on-one tutoring. This experience has been further enriched by professional development and workshops. My expertise lies in math and special education, where I employ innovative teaching methods that emphasize understanding and interactive learning. (read more)
