Jonathan L. ...Doing the math is, for me, the easy part—I can do any SAT problem you throw at me with my hands tied behind my back. Teaching the math, on the other hand—that's a little tougher. It all boils down to a handful of techniques and tricks, and once you have those, your score will shoot up dramatically—even if math isn't your strong suit.

I find when students understand what they are doing, they are willing to move on and practice on their own. Math is not hard to do if there is a teacher that explains it in a simple way for the student to comprehend it.
