I believe there is more than one way to explain math concepts so that if a student doesn't grasp the way it is presented in class, I can find an alternate way of explaining it.

Eric C. ...Over the decade or so that I've been tutoring I've found that I really can't teach memorization. Instead, I teach my students how to draw numerous conclusions from a very small pool of baseline facts. For example, the unit circle to most students may seem like just another concept to memorize, but in reality all of trigonometry can be explained using it and some simple algebra.
