...I find there's usually just a little piece missing in the student's picture of the subject matter, and not that the student can't understand at all what is going on. ...As an adult, I continue to learn about proper grammar, even reading books such as "The Grouchy Grammarian," which details the 47 mistakes most commonly made by professional writers. I know my grammar, and I know how to explain its rules to others. Geometry is one of my favorite subjects to teach because it's such a logical subject. (read more)
