I am currently a PhD candidate finishing my degree in general psychology. I love learning and teaching statistics and research methods (i.e., both quantitative and qualitative).

...I have found that when I applied my methods of learning to those I have tutored, it has helped them immensely. When teaching abstract mathematical subjects, I try to remove the abstraction as much as possible and put the problem into concrete and conceivable conditions. I also feel very strongly about the subjects I study and want those around me to feel the same. (read more)
...When I took the TEAS exam to enter nursing school I scored above a 90% in all of the subject areas. As an RN, I have received a B+ or higher in college courses related to the following subjects tested on the TEAS exam: Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Anatomy, Physiology, and English.
