...Even though Common Core is still relatively new in Los Angeles or the West Coast. There is a lot of information online of Common Core's presence in East Coast public education schools. I was able to conduct one seminar on Common Core to parents and staff back in February 2015. (read more)
...In addition to building the curriculum and teaching in the classroom, I also spent time tutoring students who needed additional support in a one-on-one setting. I loved building relationships with students in the classroom, but ultimately found that I enjoyed teaching one-on-one more than in a classroom environment.
