Robert L. ...On a more personal note, I've been tutoring my younger brother and sister ever since they've been around! When it comes to tutoring, I use a lot of examples and analogies to explain how and why something works. I find that repetition of the material is important, though it is not done excessively: this can definitely get pretty boring.
