...I also think that tutoring is not going to be of a good help if child does not have his/her personal motivation and responsibility. Many times I work on developing students' responsibility to tutor themselves and how to do that in order parents do not spend extra dollars on hiring a tutor. Since 2009 I have tutored both through WyzAnt and in tutoring centers. I tutor mainly in mathematics, and I hold a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Rutgers University. I find that the most detrimental thing to a mathematics student is lacking a core foundation. (read more)
