I then show them the ultimate goal of the problem; the goal they should be working towards in each step they take along the way. Understanding both the meaning and process allows the student to apply the concepts to different problems. (read more)
...I aced Precalculus when I was in high school, as well as acing Calculus and getting a 5 on both AP Calculus Exams. Precalculus is essentially Trigonometry and more Algebra, both of which are subjects which are used A LOT in Calculus, which I am extremely proficient in.
