...I enjoy figuring out problems, learning, reading, and playing all kinds of trivia games. I even tried out for Jeopardy once! I'm a self-described "Grammar Nerd" and a notoriously slow texter (since everything I type has to be spelled correctly). :-)I remember growing up and being terrified of "hard" subjects.

...As needed, I proctor exams for students when they have difficulty finding an appropriate location or facility to take exams at. I have availability on most days, as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons. I travel, so I don't expect you to come to me.I tutor students in the fundamentals of algebra with a focus on solving word problems, as it is applied in many other courses.
