...My tutoring method mainly consists of practice problems (active recall), visual aids, and specific questions rather than open-ended (unless it is necessary). I anticipate using flashcards for memorization purposes, as well. For english subjects, I believe sample essays and constructive criticism are optimal. Studying and learning can be fun! (read more)

...I want students to feel like independent thinkers and try not to immediately give the answers, but rather guide them in the right direction, as my ultimate goal is to have students feel confident in their own problem-solving abilities. I scored in the 95th percentile on my SAT and the 98th percentile on my SHSAT. I have received A's in multiple Math subjects in high school and college. (read more)

As a working Project Manager I also became interested in Certified Scrum Master and the SAFe framework; so I acquired those accolades as well. (read more)
...Despite over ten years of experience tutoring, I've always kept tutoring as a part-time thing with a limited number of students. I prefer it this way so I can get to know my pupils better. In addition, this arrangement means that I usually have enough free time to be flexible in case the student needs an extra session for a test or midterms, or has to reschedule because of conflicts.
