...I have a license in Elementary education as well. I have taught reading and writing to native Spanish speakers in grades 3-5 and in the process of helping them learn English I have taught them phonics as one of the skills needed to attain proficiency. Since Spanish does not have some of the English phonemes, this is one important aspect of learning English. (read more)
