...I feel I've been most successful as a tutor when I can encourage students to be concerned with more than grades. I like to encourage time scheduling skills and to emphasize an integrated understanding of Math concepts. I also ask students to considering working ahead and not to limit themselves to what has been assigned as homework. (read more)

...I tried to teach him studying tactics while tutoring him so that he could develop good studying habits on his own. Recently, I have been tutoring approximately 10 hours a week at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
