...At least at my school Geometry was the only HS math course with proofs, and this was one of the harder parts of the class. In college I have taken several other courses which focus on proofs such as linear algebra, discrete math and computational complexity. I took AP Physics C in Highschool, and got a 5 on both the AP tests for Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism. (read more)
...I noticed that the ACT is more of an introduction based on preparing for the SAT. The ACT is very fast paced, 60 questions in 60 minutes for the mathematics portion. It contains elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, coordinate geometry, plane geometry, and trigonometry, which are all subjects I am an expert on. (read more)
...As you can tell, math is a subject I love learning about because you think you know everything about a particular concept and then you'll realize that its only the foundation of something greater. Ironically, having the foundation is a challenge for some students. The student might believe that he/she doesn't understand anything about the concept. (read more)
