Many times I work on developing students' responsibility to tutor themselves and how to do that in order parents do not spend extra dollars on hiring a tutor. ...While finishing my M.S. in Chemistry at DePaul University I completed a course in statistical analysis of data. The first half of the course was a thorough treatment of probability theory with significant emphasis on problem solving. I have also taught many classes in advanced mathematics where basic probability was a requisite part of the subject. (read more)
Since 2009 I have tutored both through WyzAnt and in tutoring centers. I tutor mainly in mathematics, and I hold a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Rutgers University. I find that the most detrimental thing to a mathematics student is lacking a core foundation. (read more)
