Lynn S. ...A typical academic session, depending on the age and needs of the individual student, would be 30 minutes in length. I have found that this is the most focused and effective length of time, especially for elementary school children. Many families in the past have opted for 2-3 sessions per week to get the maximum benefit of one-on-one tutoring.
