Education and Experience: I am a chemistry major (junior) at Colorado School of Mines in Golden with a 3.4 GPA. I have a passion for math, science, and helping others to learn. In high school I tutored fellow students in geometry, algebra, and physics, as well as tutoring middle school students in all subject areas.

...So...why be a tutor? I started tutoring my kids in math & science when they were in middle school because it looked like they would begin to lose ground otherwise. I discovered I liked it, and would up tutoring them and their friends later on.

My tutoring specialty lies specifically within the world of mathematics. Having received a Bachelor's degree in the subject, I'm very passionate about it and it's applications. I recognize that everyone has a slightly different learning style and my success comes from my ability to adapt to each individual and make complex concepts simple - or at least less complex.
