...My approach to tutoring is to ask questions and listen first. I want to find out where you're at, what you understand and don't understand, and how you feel about what you're studying. Sometimes students are completely lost and we need to go all the way back to the beginning, but just as often, they only need some gaps filled in, and some concepts strengthened. (read more)
...Relevant graduate work was done at both the CUNY Graduate Center and Manhattanville College. The key to good study skills is to find the resonance and relevance between the subject and the student.
